Autism Assessment in the South Bay | Testing for Teens, Adults & Couples

An autism assessment isn’t about labeling — it’s about finally understanding how your brain works, and getting the answers that open doors to the right support.

Who Gets Assessed for Autism

Teens and adults who’ve always felt different but can’t explain why. People who’ve been diagnosed with anxiety or depression but still feel like something’s being missed. Women and girls who’ve been told they don’t “look autistic.” High-functioning individuals who’ve been masking their whole lives and are exhausted by it.

High-Masking Clients

Many adults and teens who come to me for assessment have spent years being told they’re fine — or being too good at appearing that way. High-masking people hold it together at work and school. Underneath there’s often undiagnosed ADHD or autism that’s been missed because they present so well. If you’ve always felt different but never had a name for it, a comprehensive evaluation can finally answer that question.

What the Assessment Includes

A comprehensive evaluation using gold-standard tools — cognitive testing, adaptive functioning measures, developmental history, and direct observation. I look at the full picture, not just a checklist. The report is detailed, readable, and useful — for you, your school, your employer, or your medical team.

After the Evaluation

You receive a written report with findings and specific recommendations. I walk you through the results in a feedback session. If you need support accessing accommodations, IEP services, or further resources, I can help with that too.
